The Up There x adidas Melbourne arrives as a quiet celebration of Australian sport, where tennis and track history meet under a City Series lens.
Up top, mesh gets molded into the silhouette of Rod Laver’s 1970 signature tennis shoe, while smaller references pull inspiration from a running spike dating back to the 1956 Melbourne Olympic games.
The shoe tells its story visually, opting for a color palette rooted in white and green to reflect the spike that inspired it all. It ages the silhouette gently.
