The New Balance 1906R “Faded Teal” takes a minimalist approach, allowing simple materials and geometry to speak for themselves.
Images feature the same runner-inspired silhouette we’ve seen many times before, dialing back athletic influences just enough to comfortably live in a lifestyle space.
Raincloud grey mesh softens the base, while metallic Faded Teal overlays add just enough shine to create movement. Navy hits around the midfoot and heel give the shoe structure without darkening the palette.
From a design standpoint, the build stays true to the 1906R formula. Breathable mesh keeps it light. Reinforced paneling adds support. The midsole carries visible ABZORB pods in teal that bring cushioning and a subtle visual accent. Nothing feels forced.
Rather than trying to reinvent the model, this release feels like a tightening of the formula. It suggests confidence in what already works.
