J Balvin Air Jordan 4 “Multi-Color” IW2872-700

Those who bet on J Balvin popping out during Bad Bunny’s historic halftime show may not have cashed that slip, but the Colombian sensation made his presence felt all the same. Posting highlights from the game alongside fellow artists like Eladio Carrion and Ryan Castro, true to our name, J Balvin made waves on our side of things by donning a new alternate J. Balvin x Air Jordan 4 “Multi-Color.”

To briefly recap, Benito’s DtMF tour has been the focus as of late, but Balvin’s Hecho en Medellin, Ciudad Primavera extravaganza brought us a first look at an artful, eccentrically blocked version of the Air Jordan 4. In broad strokes, that ethos remains, but his Bowl wear changes out essentially all of the panelling, utilizing brown at the toe, pink on the mudguard, bright red at the quarter, and “Sunshine” yellow across the lace stays. For some additional eye-catching details, pre-scuffing in the midsole adds to an overall aged aesthetic this version builds on, coyly sneaking in a mini Swoosh just before the toe.

The yellow utilized here is the shade we’re honing in on; product information leaks point to the eventual public release capitalizing on that “Sunshine” shade, but given the original pair wore it in a slight midsole swatch, we’re still largely at sea as to which will hit the market.

Whenever realized, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 will cap off a promise the multi-hyphenate delivered soon after his Air Jordan 3, stating that his intentions with Jordan Brand were to move sequentially through the catalog as time went on. Obviously, having already brought his talents to Mike’s first three models, this fourth chapter would no doubt prove one of the more coveted in his arsenal, given the silhouette’s continued cachet.

Though we’ll wait for confirmation on whether the shoe featured here is the one in question, a J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 is queued up for Fall 2026. Keep our coverage and our Jordan Releases 2026 page close for more info as it comes to light.
