Yohji Yamamoto’s adidas Y-3 has gone live with its Spring/Summer 2026 lookbook, showcasing an array of upcoming footwear and apparel styles tied to sport.
Shot against baseball diamonds and urban alleyways in Los Angeles, the collection is anchored by a dark navy blue pinstripe uniform that spans multiple garments. The centerpiece is a five-piece jersey collection underscoring Y-3’s connection to sport, honoring athletes who wore or wear the number 5. We’ve got soccer kits for Zinedine Zidane and Jude Bellingham, a basketball jersey for Anthony Edwards, and a football jersey for Garrett Wilson. The fifth and final item is a baseball jersey for Yohji Yamamoto himself, as he’s a big Yomiuri Giants fan.
A total of seven models make up the footwear spread, led by the adidas FYW-esque Y-3 MEGABALL, which we saw for the first time during Y-3’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway show. The Y-3 FIELD is also made a focal point, appearing in a new style featuring elastic straps as opposed to traditional laces. Accoutrements include the Y-3 GSG9 SANDAL, the Y-3 GSG9 LO, the Y-3 NIZZASTAR LO, the Y-3 REGU 2002, and Y-3 TOKYO, although none are spotlighted heavily in the lookbook.
