Nike is preparing to bring back the Nike PG 1 “Ferocity” for Holiday 2026, with early signs suggesting the release may be limited to Asia. Paul George’s first signature model has quietly resurfaced years after the PG line appeared to end, making its return feel unexpected and notable for longtime basketball sneaker fans. The “Ferocity” colorway draws from Indiana Pacers road colors, while its brighter accents subtly nod to George’s passion for fishing, giving the design a personal layer beyond team ties.
While George has indicated that the PG 1 will land in China around mid-January, there has been little to no confirmation or imagery tied to a U.S. release. That uncertainty has fueled speculation that this retro run could be region-locked, which would be an unusual move for a legacy basketball model.
For now, the Nike PG 1 “Ferocity” remains one of the more intriguing retros on the horizon as more in-hand looks continue to surface.
