Traffic is already heavy downtown, but starting Thursday night, it’s about to get even louder. With basketball, music and sneakers colliding all over LA this NBA All-Star Weekend, Nike is making fans jump around neighborhoods to experience it all.
At The Shaw, the SNKRS Cafeteria becomes the weekend’s hub, mixing film screenings, tournaments, and some of the most coveted releases in the building. Stranger Things Foamposites, All-Star footwear, and Victor Solomon’s trio of LA-inspired designs sit alongside a public 11th Ave Market highlighting Circulate and Compton Skate Club, making the space feel equal parts marketplace and meeting point.
Inglewood gets its own spotlight with the Jordan Brand House, built around athlete appearances and limited product rather than spectacle. Meanwhile, Converse turns Sunset Boulevard into The Shai Lounge for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Luxe Truffle launch, and JD Sports caps Friday with a street block party that leans music, community, and energy over retail.
