It was impossible to miss the adidas Jellyfish in 2025; well, on social media feeds, that is. Though eliciting wide “Sneaker of the Year” consideration from media outlets abound and dominating the secondary market, often touching four figures, getting your hands on Pharrell Williams’ exaggerated, exploded design was a different question entirely.
To that end, the adidas Jellyfish “Triple White” felt the beginning of a new era for the ultra-chunky sneaker, as adidas far increased that colorway’s allotment. In addition to an official CONFIRMED release, big box retailers and a far wider network of boutiques got in on the action, making the last release the most accessible yet in the model’s short history.
The adidas Jellyfish “Crystal Sand” is expected to continue that, further maintaining the new earthy direction that Williams is exploring. Whereas previous variants leaned on tone-on-white colorways befitting of its connection to the era-accurate adiStar Control 3, here a more luxurious atmosphere is in focus. Various tan and beige applications cut through the layered textures up top, before light blue patches in the midsole and outsole as well as jet black Three Stripes branding break that up.
