Air Jordan 4 “Jackie Robinson” Releasing April 2027

Jackie Robinson’s legacy is one of the more peerless ones in all of sports. Breaking the color barrier with his first base start in 1947 is the crowning achievement in a resume that included countless on-field accolades and a close working relationship with civil rights icons like Martin Luther King Jr. Nike has been celebrating #42 on an annual basis across silhouettes from 2026’s V5 RNR to 2022’s Dunk Low. In 2027, Jordan Brand will finally join the celebration with the Air Jordan 4 “Jackie Robinson” and a pair of cleats to match.

The timing here is intentional; set to launch on April 15th, 2027, this shoe will align with the 80th anniversary of that watershed moment when Jackie first suited up in blue and white. At this early stage, exact details are tentative at best, but initial reports point to a “White Cement” style colorway with blue trim throughout. Yet the more granular aspects demonstrate the emotional heart of this collaboration between the late legend’s estate and Jordan Brand; interior tags that typically read “JORDAN” will be replaced with “ROBINSON,” while the heels toggle between Nike Air branding and 42 stamps.

In addition to this lifestyle version, Jordan Brand’s “Jackie Robinson” collection will include the Jordan 4 MCS cleat. A blue-heavy colorway is reported to include translucent heels where a photo of Jackie shines through and his signature on the lateral sides.
