Air Jordan 15 “Stealth” (2017) 881429-001

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Pulled from one of Jordan Brand’s more experimental eras, the Air Jordan 15 “Stealth” carries a design story rooted in aerospace influence. The model earned its nickname from NASA’s X-15 fighter jet, which helps explain its sharp lines and unconventional build.

Originally introduced in 1999, the silhouette later returned in 2007 before making another comeback in 2017. That most recent release arrived in a clean Black and Varsity Red color scheme, staying true to its bold, futuristic identity.

Construction details remain a defining part of the shoe. A premium full-grain leather upper is paired with a distinct woven crosshatch pattern near the lacing system, while a Pebax heel counter adds structure and stability to the rear.

Although it is no longer available at retail, pairs of the Air Jordan 15 “Stealth” can still be found through resale platforms like StockX for those looking to secure a piece of Jordan Brand history.
