Nike Revives Air Max Day With A Full Neon Offense

In the niche, but for us nonetheless supremely important, hierarchy of brand holidays, Nike’s Air Max Day is arguably the most visible to the casual consumer. As a product family that bent the arc of the footwear industry to its form, since 2014 the Swoosh has celebrated the individual torchbearers on March 26th. As the 12th edition looms, the particulars are a bit different this time around.

Many of the stops along that decade-plus journey have seen new members ushered into the family picture (Vapormax, Air Max Zero, 270, DN, or DN8), but the 2026 bash takes on a separate tenor. Shifting the festivities largely onto March 5th instead, Nike is revisiting one of its true streetwear icons and one of the biggest stories of 2025: the Air Max 95 “Neon.” Paying off a promised re-release of the electrified style is one thing, but it has company for this year-later go-around; the Air Max TL 2.5, Air Max 90, and Air Max Plus all join Sean McDowell’s design, dressing for the occasion with that timeless mix of white, grey, black, and “Neon.”

In a series of campaign shots bringing together all of the invitees, atmos JP also provides us a look at some of the apparel options for you to fit in with the dress code. Y2K-style jerseys, track jackets, tees, and long sleeves are on tap, all of which don the highlighter green and many of which hit on well-established branding, with the classic “AiRMax” oval emblem defining the simplest tee of the bunch.

As mentioned, all of the Air Max “Neon” efforts (Air Max 95, Air Max 90, Air Max Plus, and Air Max TL 2.5) are due out on March 5th via SNKRS and partnering retailers. In the order just laid out, retail prices are $180, $135, $190, and $190, respectively. The Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” will touch down in full family sizing as well, arriving in women’s, GS, PS, and TD runs.
