Tyrese Haliburton’s PUMA Hali 1 and SGA’s Converse SHAI 001 aren’t the only new signature shoes to get spotlighted during this year’s NBA Playoffs. In game one of the Grizzlies/Thunder first round series, Nike Basketball caught our eye by officially unveiling the next Ja Morant shoe; the Nike Ja 3. Now about two months later, new images posted by @prm.cotd afford us our most detailed look to date.
Here we have the Nike Ja 3 “Max Volume,” the very same colorway Ja broke out against OKC in April. The gallery below highlights some of the model’s most distinguishable features, namely the liberal use of Ja’s signature logo. Hundreds of small, triangular pieces of TPU are utilized on the upper, working in tandem with each other to produce a geometric effect. Ja’s logo plays an equally important role on the outsole, delivering both form and function as the primary tread pattern. The “Max Volume” Ja 3 packs a punch with a purple and “Hyper Pink” combination, complemented by “Mint Foam” on the lateral Swoosh logo.
The Nike Ja 3 “Max Volume” is confirmed to release August 15th, 2025 in adult and GS sizing, priced at $130 for adults. Several additional colorways will support the model’s rollout throughout Fall/Winter 2025 and Spring/Summer 2026.
