As temperatures rise, sneaker design often shifts toward lighter and more breathable builds. adidas is leaning into that direction again, this time with a sculpted silhouette that puts airflow at the center of the concept. Official images now reveal the adidas Climacool Laced “Blanch Cargo,” a model that continues the brand’s push toward experimental ventilation-driven footwear.
A muted Blanch Cargo tone covers the entire exterior, allowing the structure of the shoe to do most of the talking. Instead of relying on layered materials, the upper arrives as a fully molded 3D lattice shell. The pattern tightens across the forefoot with small diamond openings, then gradually widens along the sidewalls and heel. That shift in spacing helps balance structure, flexibility, and airflow across different zones of the foot.
Breathability continues below too. Areas of the outsole open up through the midfoot and forefoot creating a mesh-like sole unit that reflects the grid pattern from the upper. The outsole tread pattern maintains a grippy texture and a molded adidas branding mark is placed near the midfoot that flows seamlessly into the solid color sole.
Black elements underneath the shell create contrast and structure. A soft internal bootie works with the lace system to secure the foot, while the Three Stripes are subtly integrated into the molded side panels.
