The next chapter of the Air Jordan legacy is coming. Official brand images of the Air Jordan 41 have surfaced, providing our clearest look yet at the 41st installment of Michael Jordan’s signature sneaker line.

While Jordan Brand has yet to formally unveil the model and its complete performance specifications, the new imagery reveals plenty about the design and offers a few clues as to what’s happening underneath the hood.

Seen here in the University Red/Infrared 23 colorway, the Air Jordan 41 takes on a decidedly modern appearance with a textured skin covering much of the upper. An exposed carbon fiber plate is visible through the midsole, while the outsole reveals an updated traction pattern built around the demands of performance basketball.

There’s also one piece of technology Jordan Brand isn’t exactly hiding. ZoomX branding appears prominently on the shoe, confirming that brand’s highly responsive cushioning technology will once again play a role in the Air Jordan 41. There will most certainly be an element of Zoom Air cushioning as well.
