Clearly, decades in operation taught Crocs and LEGO how to make a splash. The beloved toy company and inner-circle footwear giant announced they had joined hands in an instantly attention-grabbing manner, with a squared-out and sized-up silhouette, the Brick Clog, starting their shared journey.
As outrageous as that first chapter was, it veered closer to “meme shoe” territory than an actual wearable ode to the two heritage brands. For that, we unwrap the second collection under their names. Perhaps playing off the universal experience of receiving the business end of a LEGO brick, the dotted arrangement of their toy series defines the midsoles across five distinct styles.
The “Creativity Clog” makes up most of what’s on offer here, a primary-colored concept that extends into kids and adult pairs alike; only girls will get a swing at an all-pink version. Things get a bit headier for the “Midnight Garden” pair to close, sporting floral Jibbitz charms atop a blacked-out profile.
