Few silhouettes carry the kind of history the Cortez does. From its early running roots to its place in street culture, the shape has barely changed over the decades. That familiar foundation continues with the Nike Cortez “Triple Black Polka Dot”, a darker, more textural take expected to land in Summer 2026.
At first glance, the pair reads as a simple all-black Cortez. Look closer, and the details start to show. Polished circular overlays sit atop the leather upper, dotting the panels. It’s a simple addition that speaks volumes. The polka dots are subdued, but create dimension while maintaining a minimalist color scheme.
Texture is used to differentiate design elements. The toe box and eyestays are covered in a suede fabric, for contrast against the leather upper. Outfitting the entire shoe is a fully-black midsole and outsole.
