We’re used to seeing waves of Nike Basketball PEs made for college programs every March Madness, but Devin Booker and the Nike Book 2 are operating in their own lane. The Phoenix Suns star and current PE king of the NBA seems intent on wearing college-inspired exclusives himself, so far trotting out pairs for Texas, Michigan State, USC, Oregon, and Kentucky. And as one of Nike’s forever favorites, Oregon appears to be getting a double dip.
Worn during last night’s Suns vs. Celtics matchup was another Nike Book 2 “Oregon” PE, this one considerably more lively than the first. The mudguard, outsole, lining, and various Spiridon-inspired ribbons all arrive in bright green, complemented by a white mesh upper and golden yellow Swooshes.
These won’t see a public release, but it’s possible we’ll see the Oregon women lace them up during their March Madness push (the men didn’t make the cut this year). See detailed images below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse upcoming basketball shoes.
