Nike Basketball is continuing its celebration of the WNBA’s legacy with a special kids-exclusive release. The Nike Sabrina 3 GS “WNBA 30th Anniversary” is set to launch in April 2026, marking three decades since the league’s foundation was approved back in 1996.
Recently revealed through official images, this Sabrina 3 colorway joins Nike’s Summer 2026 lineup and directly honors that historic moment. The date ties back to April 24, 1996, when the NBA’s Board of Governors gave the green light for the WNBA, which officially debuted the following year.
The design carries a bold yet balanced mix of Sail, Atom Red, Light Photo Blue, and Midnight Navy. Red laces sit over a layered textile upper, while a perforated navy Swoosh features small badge-style accents. Additional details include split red and blue heel pull tabs, anniversary tongue graphics marked with “96,” and Sabrina Ionescu-branded insoles with custom patterns. The pair is also packaged in special-edition boxing with WNBA-themed graphics and 30-year callouts.
The Nike Sabrina 3 GS “WNBA 30th Anniversary” is expected to release April 24, 2026 through select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $112 USD.
