A familiar Air Max setup is heading back onto the course with a sharp new finish for Summer 2026. This latest Nike Air Max 90 Golf “Smoke Grey/Fire Red” release leans on the model’s retro DNA, but the color blocking gives it a cleaner and more aggressive edge.
Balanced from the start, the duo tone overlays begin with a white leather buff that spans much of the upper. Textured mesh in Light Smoke Grey makes up the areas around the toe-box and heel while a darker grey tongue overlay sits on top of the lower shoe adding definition without clutter. This stacked aesthetic keeps the silhouette near true to the OG Air Max 90 while still fitting perfectly on the greens.
Visually, Fire Red does the majority of the work. The bright Swoosh cuts through the neutral build, while matching hits on the tongue, insole, and heel branding bring the whole design together. Black panels around the eyestays, heel badge, outsole, and Air unit area add the contrast that gives this golf-ready Air Max its classic punch.
Underfoot, the traction pattern is built for grip, yet the model still keeps the everyday appeal that made the AM 90 such a staple.
