Pittsburgh Steelers Colors Touch Up The Reebok Brutus Low

The 1990s were the golden era of training shoes, and nobody owned that lane quite like Reebok. The brand’s Preseason Series stretched across multiple models and sports, building its legacy through athletes like Emmitt Smith, Frank Thomas, and plenty more at every level of competition. That energy lives on today through a curated lineup of retros many longtime sneakerheads have been eager to see revisited.

2026 has delivered the return of the Reebok Brutus Low, originally released as a turf trainer in the 1990s and now back for its first-ever retro stint. Following black and “49ers” colorways, this latest look delivers a high-contrast, high-energy mix of black and yellow. The Pittsburgh Steelers immediately come to mind, though you could just as easily point to the Pirates given the teams’ shared palette and the model’s dual-sport roots. The aggressive forefoot paneling and rugged sole unit come in black, while a white and black Reebok logo lands within a yellow heel panel.
