A new month means a monstrous slate of drops.
Of course that goes for the “quality” end of things, as evidenced by the Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 and another full slate from the Nike Mind series. However, as the start of any month tends to bring, April 1st is jam packed with both performance and lifestyle, filling out an upcoming calendar that also includes Klutch x New Balance, a new Converse SHAI 001, a new silhouette from Pharrell’s adidas VIRGINIA, and a fresh edition from Fragment x Nike.

March 31st is an island release, as the Note SB Dunk Low brings its “Brew and Biscuits” concept wide.
April 1st’s (lifestyle) festivities begins with the Vans Old Skool “Flame,” the latest from Vans and Greg Betty’s hot streak. The Jordan 3 “Spring Flowers’ for kids follows, before two Boston brands dominate the rest; the New Balance 2000 “Limelight,” New Balance 2010 “Rosewood,” New Balance Allerdale “Turkish Coffee,” and all-new New Balance 5030 make up a heavy effort from NB, while the PUMA Speedcat Wedge makes noise for the Big Cat. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Gamma Grey” tosses in one final one for the Jumpman.
April 1st’s (performance) slate offers your monthly edition from the Mamba in the Kobe 9 EM “Light Silver,” with current Swoosh athletes not far behind with the Sabrina 3 “What The” and Giannis Freak 7 “Light Aqua.” On the running front, Nike’s cutting-edge model lets loose the Vomero Premium “Tangerine Tint” and Vomero Premium “White/Total Orange.” Finally, the Jumpman’s finest bring out the Jordan Luka 5 “Black/White” and Jordan Tatum 4 “Locked In.”
April 2nd offers another chance at the Swoosh’s viral family: the Nike Mind 001 “Sail,” Mind 001 “Geode Teal,” Mind 001 “Team Red,” Mind 002 “Sail” all touch down. Rich Paul’s athletic brand spreads its wings with the Klutch New Balance AC Runner, SGA goes patterned for the Converse SHAI 001 “Camo,” the
Reebok Brutus Lo issues a yellow and black, and the ASICS GEL-SD LYTE UB13-S brings more from the Japanese giant’s Kiko Kostadinov relationship.
April 3rd closes the book on the VAA Jordan 1, as a wide range of raffles wrap up. Not to be outdone, the Nike x Fragment Liquid Max closes Fujiwara’s Concept Testing series (at least for now.) Finally, the Nike LeBron 23 “Good Intentions” remembers “The Decision.”
April 4th continues a hot streak for adidas, as the Pharrell Williams VIRGINIA Vario Flat Earther brings a more accessible flank to the VIRGINIA series. The Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” drops off a 2006 sample for wide audiences, the Renegade Nike Running pack hits SNKRS, and the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Antlanta” dips into Edwards’ Georgia origins.
