The deluge of Nike Book 2 player exclusives, particularly during the height of March Madness, can almost lull you into forgetting that the shoe is ultimately for the shelves. In a somewhat quiet period with regards to public drops following the Fragment & Kentucky-inspired “Must Be The Denim,” Devin Booker of course is the one to break the silence, donning the Nike Book 2 “Haven and Hector” on court.

Members of the Book club will remember that this was, in fact, one of the very first colorways in Devin’s signature line, adapted almost in exactly the same way: furry black uppers, orange hits on the Swoosh. The major change here comes in the title, alluding to Book’s best friend in the Cane Corso Haven and, newly, the dog’s son Hector. Having gained the second pup early in 2025, the full family picture comes into view on his Nike line, with slighter amendments including a Gothic Detroit callout on the outside tongues and depictions of both of Devin’s pets on the interior.
Courtesy of an early drop in China, we’ve included in-hand images along with Booker’s personal showcase below. The Nike Book 2 “Haven and Hector” is expected to materialize stateside this May, though retail pricing is yet to be confirmed.
