Rather than revisiting team history, the 2026 editions reflect how each club exists today and how they continue to be shaped by its community and growing fanbase.
Eight teams return for this next chapter, including the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, and Texas Rangers. Each worked closely with Nike to translate local stories, values, and regional influences into designs that feel personal rather than prescribed.
The latest Nike MLB City Connect jerseys will be available beginning April 9 via Nike, MLB Shop, Fanatics, and select retailers. See below for a breakdown of all eight teams.
Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves 2026 City Connect uniform blends past and present by drawing inspiration from the club’s iconic 1980s powder blue era when Braves games reached national audiences via superstation broadcasts. The Texas Rangers 2026 City Connect uniform celebreates the cultural influence of Mexico woven into the state’s identity. Centered around the word “Tejas” which is derived from the Caddo word for “friend,” the design is brought to life through lettering inspired by the club’s 1980s uniforms. A rich cochineal red palette nods to a historically significant dye in Mexican culture, while details like a raised-weave “T” logo, papel picado state patch, and mariachi-inspired patterns highlight craftsmanship and tradition. The charro-influenced textures and vaquero references tie the uniform back to the roots of Mexican cowboy culture.
Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles 2026 City Connect uniform is centered around a bold “BMORE” wordmark with the Oriole Bird perched up top. A sleeve patch nods to the brass home run markers along Eutaw Street, while the jock tag features the stadium’s iconic wrought-iron clock. The Kansas City Royals 2026 City Connect “Forever Fountains” uniform is centered around a bold gradient palette, drawing from Kansas City’s “City of Fountains” identity by blending vibrant fuchsia tones with signature blues to reflect both the energy of its people and its iconic landmarks. Heritage is honored through an updated “R” logo inspired by the club’s original 1969 mark, while a heart emblem reinforces Kansas City’s place as the nation’s heartland.
