They just keep on coming. The Nike Air Max 95 is riding strong momentum into 2026 with a run of original colorways, including the beloved Air Max 95 “Comet” and now the equally elusive “Slate,” which is set to hit shelves on May 7th.
Part of the model’s original 1995 lineup, the Air Max 95 “Slate” stands out with a clean blue suede gradient and an Emerald Green Air unit. Previous retros landed in 2005 and 2015, each with slight deviations from the OG. We’ve also seen a few adjacent looks over the years, including the Air Max 95 “White/New Green” (609048-102) and an Air Max 95 NS.
This 2026 version differs in a couple key areas: the inner tongue comes in white instead of navy, and the spine branding appears in black rather than Emerald Green (at least on the GS pair). Still, the return of the “big bubble” Air unit helps bring things back in line with the original 1995 release.
