We’re unofficially in a new era of the adidas Jellyfish. To be sure, Pharrell Williams and adidas have had plenty of flashbulb moments in their partnership, stretching back to his Human Race NMD Hu that captured audiences for several consecutive seasons. Yet the Jellyfish may still be their biggest cultural contribution to date, finally becoming more available to the consumer after heavily limited launches in 2025. If you’ve yet to take the supersized silhouette for a spin, the adidas Jellyfish “Dark Brown/Frozen Green” provides your next opportunity.
This pair was originally teased/debuted by Chief Keef in another display of Skateboard P’s celebrity rolodex (and his willingness to leverage that for his adi catalog). It’s the latest step in a high-velocity release spree for the silhouette overall, started by the “Triple White” and continuing through the “Crystal Sand” and impending “Timber.” Beyond the release particulars, each of those has expanded the aesthetic possibilities with this maximalist model, testing new palettes beyond the bounds of the standard techy tone-on-whites that defined its early run. For this pair, earthy woody hues set the stage before off-white overlays and hi-vis bring extra brightness into the fold.
At the time of this writing, the adidas Jellyfish “Dark Brown/Frozen Green” is expected to release on September 19th, retailing for its usual $300.
