LaMelo Ball used one of the biggest games of his career to introduce the PUMA MB.05 Lo “Flourish”, stepping on the floor in a loud slime green colorway that instantly stole attention. Charlotte’s win over Miami gave the moment even more weight, especially with Ball delivering late when the Hornets needed him most.
The PUMA MB.05 Lo pushes his signature line in a sharper direction instead of simply trimming down the high-top version. This low-cut build brings a redesigned upper, a more dramatic shroud setup, and layered detailing that gives the shoe a textured, almost tattoo-like look. Extra containment around the forefoot also helps separate it from earlier low-top versions in the MB series.
Bright green shades cover nearly the entire shoe, giving the pair the same flashy energy that has become part of LaMelo’s on-court identity. The upper mixes molded shapes, stitched graphics, and aggressive lines, while the heel and midsole keep the futuristic design language that has defined the MB franchise. “Rare” style signature details remain intact, but this pair feels more evolved than a simple seasonal update.
The MB.05 Lo first appeared in a stripped-down form around All-Star Weekend, but the “Flourish” colorway looks like the model’s true arrival. This version feels more complete, more expressive, and more in line with the bold design choices fans expect from LaMelo Ball’s PUMA Basketball line.
PUMA will release the LaMelo Ball x PUMA MB.05 Lo “Flourish” on May 15th in adult and grade school sizing through select retailers and PUMA.com.
