New Balance has another ABZORB 1890 on deck, and this “Dark Silver Metallic” pair gets there without trying too hard. The color mix stays neutral, the shape does the work, and the whole thing feels like a runner pulled from another era and cleaned up for now.
White mesh sets the tone across the upper and gives the shoe that light, open look this silhouette needs. Metallic silver overlays cut through the side panels in curved, teardrop-like lines that bring out the model’s tech-heavy design. A softer silver shade around the collar keeps the upper from blending together too much and gives the shoe a little more dimension.
Dark grey suede at the heel changes the pace just enough and adds a heavier finish to the back end.
