Division Street continues to expand its Ducks of a Feather imprint with another high-impact collaboration, this time focusing on one of the more needle-moving Nike Basketball models for a very limited-edition take on the Nike GT Future.
Dubbed the “Metallic Nova,” the project reinterprets Oregon’s unmistakable aesthetic by blending the green heritage with a distinctly modern execution. The inspiration is rooted in the mallard duck, a longtime symbol tied to the University, with the shoe’s iridescent finish mimicking the natural sheen of its feathers. That concept is translated through a liquid-metal look, where shifting green and gold tones boast the silhouette’s chief detail.
Details like tinted rubber outsoles, synthetic suede overlays, and TPU-welded branding reinforce the technical direction, continuing Oregon’s legacy of pushing uniform design into new territory.
As with past Ducks of a Feather releases, proceeds from the project will directly benefit participating University of Oregon student-athletes, tying the release back to Division Street’s broader mission.
The DOAF x Nike GT Future “Metallic Nova” will release exclusively at Flight Club New York on May 9; these are limited to just 300 individually numbered pairs, so the hunt will be on.
