BAPE continues pushing its footwear lineup into new territory with the debut of the BAPE LOAFER STA. The model blends loafer-inspired styling with familiar sneaker DNA, creating a hybrid design that fits the current rise of dressed-up casual footwear.
The silhouette uses the sole unit from the BAPE SHARK STA runner, giving the shoe a sport-driven base. However, the upper shifts into a more refined lane with a laceless build, raised toe piping, and textured panels. Jagged tooth-like stitching near the mudguard adds a sharp BAPE detail, nodding to the brand’s signature animal-inspired design language.
Two colorways will launch first, giving the new model both clean and versatile options. The light brown pair delivers a softer, more lifestyle-ready look, while the all-black version leans sleek and understated. Both styles keep the shape simple enough for everyday wear, while still carrying BAPE’s bold identity.
The BAPE LOAFER STA is currently confirmed for a Japan release on May 2, 2026 through BAPE online and in-store locations. A wider U.S. launch has not been announced yet, but the sneaker-loafer direction gives BAPE another fresh category to explore. Keep an eye out for more release updates as availability expands.
