adidas Originals wants to expand the reach of Hyperboost beyond running shoes, starting with the adidas Hyperboost Euphoria. Inspired by the recently released Hyperboost Edge, this fresh silhouette takes things in a more relaxed direction.
The shoe’s body mostly consists of that cushioned midsole. It retains the chunky Hyperboost silhouette while giving the shoe a sleek look and feel that still maintains a low-top vibe you’d expect from a street-style sneaker. The upper blends mesh and knit material, keeping things technical but not too busy.
Black and white colorways have appeared in the pair’s initial leaks. While those colorways make the silhouette usable, gradient options play up the shoe’s oversized silhouette with silver and iridescent accents. It’s a smart lineup to start with as adidas figures out how versatile Hyperboost can look.
The Hyperboost Euphoria almost feels like adidas took some recognizable running DNA, then tweaked it for lifestyle purposes. You still get that blown up cushioning identity tied to the Hyperboost Edge but dialed down softer for daily wear and cleaner for daily aesthetics.
Adidas has officially dropped the Hyperboost Euphoria name. Aside from that, we don’t know much about the upcoming release. The silhouette is said to drop via adidas Originals sometime within the next few months. Price and release date have yet to be revealed.
