Caitlin Clark debuted another Nike Kobe player exclusive, debuted the Nike Kobe 5 “Protro” Sonic” PE as she lead the Indiana Fever past Seattle Storm to get their first home win. Clark led the team with 21 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds.
The colorway, obviously inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog, which the fourth installment in the movie franchise is set to hit theaters on March 19, 2027. It features a royal blue and white base, giving the low-cut Kobe model a sharp, high-speed feel. Metallic gold outlines the Swooshes, while small red hits on the heel add extra contrast.
Clark has become one of the biggest names connected to Nike Basketball’s modern Kobe lineup. Her rotation has included several player-exclusive pairs, helping build even more attention around her Nike partnership. With her first signature sneaker expected to arrive this year, her Kobe PEs continue to keep fans watching closely.
For now, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Sonic” PE remains exclusive to Caitlin Clark. No public release has been announced.
