First Look At The Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow”

Looking to past hits has always been part and parcel of Jordan Brand strategy offering a second chance to those who struck out at initial releases, double-up opportunities for those whose pairs are wearing down over time, or reintroducing classics to a new generation. In the past few years, Jordan Brand has clearly shifted their gaze to a new era of widely-loved colorways, issuing some of the first bring-backs for LS era joints that’ve remained untouched since their mid-aughts debuts.

For those who may not be familiar with the “LS” demarcation, that sub-head marked Retro Jordans that pushed beyond the bounds of classic sporty palettes or colorings aligned with Michael Jordan’s teams. The Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow,” now pictured here in its 2026 arrangement for the first time, quickly jumped out to become an icon of that period.

Draped in a high-octane palette, the shoe largely remains untouched from a coloring standpoint; speckled yellow midsoles and a clean white/black split through the uppers and outsole stick around. Obviously, just a glance at the 2006 originals reveals a major overhaul in shape; the 2000’s slouchier build here shifts to the bulkier one that’s paced most AJ4s this decade. A leather backtab and, though not depicted in full here, removable velcro patches round out this shoe, the latter aligning with its alternate “Rare Air” title.
