James Whitner Debuts JAIDE x Air Jordan 11 Low “Fiberglass”

In its three decades at the center of the sneaker world, the Air Jordan 11 has never been the subject of a collaboration. Jordan Brand has historically been steadfast in protecting the “aura” of Michael’s favorite sneaker, giving us only a handful of releases per year and, unlike what we’ve seen with models like the AJ4, avoiding saturation even though big retros prove to be big cash cows.

2026 begins a new era for the model. Jordan Brand will debut its first-ever collaborations on the AJ11 franchise with a series of low-top styles by The Whitaker Group. It also appears Comme des Garçons Homme Plus is getting the honor of the first standard Jordan 11 collab, a black and white pack debuted at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.

The floodgates open with the JAIDE x Air Jordan 11 Low, debuted by James Whitner himself at the grand opening of A Ma Maniére’s new Edgewood flagship in Atlanta, per Modern Notoriety. JAIDE is The Whitaker Group’s first women-focused retail outpost, debuted less than a year ago with locations in Atlanta and Charlotte. The sneaker, though expected in women’s sizing, boasts genderless appeal with a soft, summer-ready palette of “Fiberglass/White/Black.” An APB x Air Jordan 11 Low is expected for Fall 2026, and it’s possible that A Ma Maniére and Social Status will round out the full Whitaker Group quartet (much like we saw with the company’s recent Nike V5 RNR series).

The JAIDE x Air Jordan 11 Low “Fiberglass” is due out Summer 2026 in women’s sizes for $205. No firm date has been announced, but JAIDE will be celebrating its one-year anniversary this July, which may provide some clues on timing.
