If you follow sneaker content creators, few categories of post are more in vogue come summertime than the “vacation rotation.” Less is made of the workplace rotation (at least this side of a certain educator). Yet a pillar of the modern office is now taking that question one step further: what if the tools of the trade were literally on your feet?
Customs artist @jsbthecreator, with a client list that already includes Rick Ross and Lionsgate, was tasked by Slack to adapt the company’s branding to some staple lifestyle shoes, namely the Nike Dunk Low and Air Max 1. For anyone who receives Knock Brush notis on a daily basis, you’ll clock the aesthetic inspiration pretty immediately; the brand’s “Aubergine” tonality sets the tone on either pair, but the four-color app logo influences patches on both as well.
SlackBot lives on the heel of each for some extra corporate pride, with workman-like custom boxes adding a peripheral punch as well. And while we kid about the hustle culture aspect here, Slack keeps their work/life balance front and center on these kicks: “Work Hard and Go Home” appears on the boxes’ size labels.
For those taken by these Slack Nike Dunk Low or Air Max 1 customs, sadly these have already been distributed, presumably, to Slack leadership and employees. However, you can take them in from afar via the image gallery below.
