Slack Nike Dunk Low Air Max 1 Customs

Slack has transformed work-appropriate attire into sneaker culture with custom Nike projects designed exclusively for the company’s employees. Slack partnered with custom designer @jsbthecreator on two lifestyle staples, the Nike Dunk Low and Nike Air Max 1. Both silhouettes have been customized through Slack’s signature colorways.

Slack’s Nike Dunk Low and Nike Air Max 1 customs are likely not going to be released to the public. Instead, the sneakers were seemingly designed for Slack’s own team members and higher-ups. As such, it’s safe to say that this is less of a sneaker collaboration and more of a brand-building project on Slack’s behalf.

Slack’s signature Aubergine color pops on both shoes, helping to solidify the connection to the platform while not taking over each sneaker’s design. The company’s logo is strategically placed on both pairs through patch design elements, while the iconic SlackBot wording lands on the heels to solidify each shoe’s connection to the office-app.

Custom packaging adds some personality to the project. Every box is uniquely tailored to be work-inspired, labeling sizes with “Work Hard and Go Home,” a witty phrase referencing Slack’ overarching themes of work/life balance.

While they may not be available for purchase, the Slack Nike Dunk Low and Air Max 1 customs demonstrate there is still room for self-expression in the workplace subculture.
