Nike is giving the Air Force 1 Low a more dressed-up lane for Summer 2026. The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Leather” keeps the shape everyone knows, but swaps the usual all-black AF1 feel for pebbled leather, chrome hits, and a small piece of loafer-inspired hardware across the forefoot.
Official images show black leather covering the upper, including the toe box, Swoosh, heel, eyestays, and side panels. The grainy texture does most of the heavy lifting here. Without it, this would read like another black Air Force 1. With it, the shoe has more depth, especially next to the matching black midsole and outsole.
The silver accent near the bottom of the laces is the detail that changes the whole read of the pair. It looks like a loafer buckle, but it is not a regular lace dubrae. Nike secures it with extra fabric loops, so the piece feels more worked into the design instead of added at the end.
Chrome Nike branding appears on the tongue and heel tab, giving the shoe just enough shine to match the hardware. Brown insoles break up the black from the inside, though the exterior stays mostly tonal and simple.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Leather” is expected to release in Summer 2026 via Nike.com and select retailers. Pricing has not been confirmed.
