It’s been weeks since Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 signature shoe was in the headlines, but it’s back in a big way. Official images of a vibrant “Multi-color Iridescent” pair have surfaced ahead of its scheduled July 1st, 2025 launch; read on to learn more.
Since late 2023, the Nike Book 1 has been a mainstay in the daily/weekly sneaker chatter, largely in part due to the strong pipeline of Player Exclusives and in-line release. When Nike wasn’t dropping a strong colorway in stores, we were getting a feast in terms of player-only issues like the “Neon 95”, “1996 All-Star”, and more. It turned out Nike was just teasing a future drop, but today we have a first look at a never-before-seen colorway.
Donning an all-black upper in leather and mesh, the Swoosh brand adds an iridescent panel on the ankle and logo to emanate a multi-colored effect. The light green outsole could also be glow-in-the-dark, although the official images don’t reveal it. Could these be a nod to the “Galaxy” pair? It’s not quite in alignment, but the similarities are there.
This Book 1 drop is set to launch on July 1st for $155; only a handful of pairs remain of Devin’s debut signature shoe before the Book 2 makes way. Stay tuned for updates.
