Air Jordan 14 “Blue Ferrari” Releasing In 2027

When it comes to Jordans, OG colorways will always have their place, eternal candidates for reimagining or true-to-life bring-backs (as the Jordan 4 “Fire Red” or Jordan 11 “Space Jam” demonstrate). It’s really saying something when a colorway that dawned well beyond a silhouette’s original market run is able to spawn its own lineage. The Jordan 4 “Thunder” will always be top of mind in that regard for us given how deep its runoff catalog now is, but kicks like the Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” or Jordan 5 “Laney” prove that this isn’t restricted to the AJ4’s purview. The Air Jordan 14 may now have its own instance, as news of a “Blue Ferrari” colorway coming in 2027 breaks.

Originally released in 2014, the original Jordan 14 “Ferrari” made waves by fusing the entire upper into an interrupted suede layout, playing into the sportscar inspiration for the sneaker as a whole by pulling from the Ferrari 550 Maranello. Five years later, that same concept would apply to the “Reverse Ferrari,” moving yellow up in the hierarchy into a new leather spin on the motif. In the past few years, we’ve seen it spread far beyond just two GR colorways; Nigel Sylvester revealed a “Purple Ferrari” pair for the Jordan Brand inner circle and colleges from UCLA to Houston to Florida enjoyed a PE spree with the same seamless bodies.

For the third publicly available version of the high-octane aesthetic, the Jordan 14 is expected to simply swap palettes from the fiery originals to a cooler, aquatic version. Though we now know that this pair is expected in Fall 2027, no firm color codes have been announced nor any retail pricing.
