Nike Air Force 1 Low “Fir” IH4961-323

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

When you’ve produced as many colorway options as the Nike Air Force 1 Low, it becomes harder and harder to grab attentions without major swings. The various offshoots that the model has supported in recent years are arguably their most significant in that department, but just a step before that, material changes are an easy way to break away from the silhouette’s sometimes staid construction.

Which brings us to the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Fir,” offering a three-for-one reimagining of the classic all-white force. The titular viridescent shade is focused on the rear half of the shoe, coinciding with a shaggy suede heel counter and glossy, silken Swoosh / heel tab. working just a bit forward, a tonal oof-white crashes the quarter, while exposed yellow stitching secures the branding to the body of the shoe. As the shoe finishes with more traditional white leather and a gum sole, the profile overall almost reads as if designers “cracked open” a pair of Triple White’s, revealing decon tooling hidden below the surface.

As an earnest GR, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Fir” is likeliest to hit Nike.com and retailers without much, if any, advance warning. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page to be the first to know when that comes to pass — a firm retail price hasn’t been confirmed, but expect something in the $120 range.
