PUMA is adding three new colorways to the Suede, introducing the “Forever” Pack as the latest chapter of its ongoing Never Not Suede campaign.
There’s no reinvention happening here, and that’s largely the point with a true classic. Instead, PUMA has carefully selected “Midnight Petrol,” “Kona Brown,” and “Silver Fog” to cover the familiar silhouette in rich brushed suede, giving the shoes a slightly worn-in texture from the start.
The brand keeps the remaining details appropriately traditional, including a debossed Formstrip, gold branding, and warm gum rubber soles across all three pairs.
Few sneakers have earned the right to stay this consistent quite like the Suede. Its lineage stretches back to PUMA’s Crack in 1968 before Walt “Clyde” Frazier put his name on his own version in 1973. The silhouette would eventually become known as the Suede, and from that point on the lifestyle shoe has endured several eras as an undisputed icon in street fashion.
