Collaborations with Action Bronson and ICE STUDIOS suggest the Minimus Trail might have more to offer beyond its trail utility – or at least New Balance thinks so. While a contingent of “gorpcore” fans might latch on, the model has and will continue to resonate most sincerely with those who actually put it to the test in nature. If you’re currently finding yourself looking up running trails for summer, you might find a winner in this upcoming “Dried Orange/Light Mint” women’s colorway.
Painting a bright, playful atmosphere aligned with the essence of the warmer months, the “Dried Orange” hue begins the design on the mesh/TPU portion of the upper. Cream-colored mesh makes up the toe box and collar, matching the tongue and laces, while “Light Mint” lands on the shoe’s rugged chevron traction. The heel portion of the midsole appears in “Dried Orange” with black paint splatter, while the protective midfoot plate comes in black with white specks.
The New Balance Minimus Trail “Dried Orange/Light Mint” should hit newbalance.com soon in women’s sizing for $120; scroll through the image gallery below if you’re considering copping.
