New Balance 992 Made In USA “Mint Gum” U992EN1

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

The hiatus was too long. The New Balance 992 is back in the fold in 2025, flying high under the wing of Teddy Santis’ Made In USA tier. And after collaborations with long-time partners in Kith and Joe Freshgoods, the 992 is slowly rebuilding itself into a store shelf staple at the world’s top boutiques.

Here we have a first look at a 992 in a refreshing new colorway for the Fall 2025 season. Immediately, we’re met with an actual red/white/blue hit on the Made In USA flag on the tongue, while the rest of shoe’s build inclines towards the timeless retro runner look with suede overlays in a cooling green above a contrasting creamy tan quarter and base mesh. Beneath it all is a gum sole, with translucent Abzorb pods at the forefoot and heel to persist the performance tech of this once prized running shoe.

While a release date hasn’t been revealed just yet, we expect a launch in the coming months on New Balance’s standardized Thursday morning launches. Stay tuned for the drop; the MSRP is set at $200.

In other brand updates, here’s a look at the New Balance 204L set to release at the end of the month.
