Nike’s latest take on its long-running Pegasus series is the updated Pegasus Premium. The pair returns in a bold “Volt” take scheduled to release in Fall 2025.
As has been the case on previous versions of the Pegasus Premium, the shoe is defined by its triple-stacked midsole. Nike layer ZoomX foam, a full-length Zoom Air unit, and ReactX foam to offer a springy energy return and a plush ride. Built for runners but ideal for everyday wear.
The upper is nearly completely treated in Volt. The mesh upper, overlays, and laces are all illuminated in neon yellow. The use of black for the Swoosh, AIR branding, and midsole serve to tone the aesthetic down. A translucent Zoom Air unit on the outsole contributes to the design’s visual complexity, and tech appeal.
The Nike Pegasus Premium “Volt” will launch in Fall 2025 with a retail price of $220. It will be available on Nike.com and at select retailers.
