Crocs has gone mainstream with a candy-inspired collaboration, a limited edition Gushers x Crocs Classic Clog. Scheduled to launch on August 8.
Crocs drew inspiration from the tropical flavors of the chewy fruit snack. One shoe features a gradient yellow-to-green clog, while the pair also includes a strawberry red into grape purple clog. Croslite™ uppers and black footbeds are printed with a multicolored Gushers logo.
The fruit snack- and packaging-shaped Jibbitz charms add an extra playful detail to the bold and youthful slip-ons. Glossy midsole “splashes” on each side continue the sugary theme, giving the impression of juicy droplets from the candy.
The Gushers x Crocs Classic Clog Releases August 8th via Crocs.com for $80.
Crocs has been inspired by pop culture icons and trends for years, but this collaboration might be one of the most nostalgic so far.
