Action Bronson’s New Balance 1890 Baklava “Hornet Tusk” Drops This Week

Oftentimes, it’s being chosen to debut a new model that really cements a collaborator as a treasured part of a brand’s strategy. If you abide by that definition, Action Bronson is currently earning his seat at the table, as a collab series on the New Balance 1890 is introducing the public to the past-meets-present model.

First let loose in a primary-color-laden “Cyborg Tears” palette, the second step in Bronsolonio’s latest excursion returns to territory familiar to the artist. Though we’re still receiving the vivid, experimental overall color combos (a white foundation flares out into neon green in the underfoot ABZORB pods and a goldenrod yellow on the heel counter), this pair compares to thetones that previously doused his “Untitled” 990v6 or the “Rosewater” 1906R. Additional hallmarks of his catalog like two-tone rope laces and a translucent “BAKLAVA” tag on the tongue continue the links to his previous work.

The Action Bronson x New Balance 1890 Baklava “Hornet Tusk” releases first via early access on February 5th before a wide launch (more than likely via specializinginlife.com) on February 6th. A $210 retail price is expected via either channel.
