The Nike Shox R4 Gets Meta With This “Boing” Colorway

If the growing presence of existing designs like the Shox TL and Ride 2 didn’t convince you already, let Nike’s product innovation tell you that Shox is a top-line priority. The kitten-heeled Shox Z now has a sibling in the Shox Magia, both tapping into the women’s market across differing approaches to rehash what was once basketball and running tech into some of the trendiest hardware in the brand’s arsenal.

That overall popularity and how Shox advanced the ball upon its introduction is in focus for a fresh colorway, as the “Distressed Leather” build seen on a previous dusky counterpart makes a return. Underneath an all-“Natural Net” off-white layout, “Boing” text sits on the insoles, no doubt a cutesy tie to the titular propulsion system featured here.

Expect the Nike Shox R4 “Boing” to hit Nike.com and partnering retailers in short order. A $160 retail price is expected.
