The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Dodgers” is on the way for Fall 2026, bringing one of the Kobe line’s more memorable sports-inspired themes back into focus. After the Kobe 6 “Dodgers” made a strong impression, Nike is now carrying that same Los Angeles tribute over to the Kobe 5 with a familiar mix of baseball references and clean team-based color blocking.
Rush Blue covers most of the upper, while Wolf Grey Swooshes and Comet Red stitching deliver the look that ties the pair back to the Dodgers theme. The heel detail stands out right away, giving the shoe a baseball-style finish that helped make the earlier concept so popular. This version also separates itself with a matching blue midsole, keeping the design sleek and consistent from top to bottom.
Inside the shoe, Nike adds another nod to Kobe’s legacy with 8 and 24 stitched behind the tongues in contrasting yellow-trimmed tabs. That hidden detail gives the release a little more personality without taking away from the simple color setup. Based on these early images, Nike did not overwork the concept and instead kept the formula sharp.
