Nike And Ja Morant’s “Twelve Time” Takedown Model Debuts Fall 2026

Ja Morant’s signature line under Nike was already a fan favorite, particularly with the younger generation, but chapter 3 sent it into the stratosphere. Celebrated by analysts and wide audiences alike as one of the more striking designs to come out of the Nike Basketball incubator in years, the Nike Ja 3 is now past its halfway point on the market. As we look to its conclusion and begin tossing the concept of the Ja 4 over in our minds, we’re now getting word that Morant and the Swoosh will have far more in store.

The Nike Twelve Time will mark the start of a takedown series under Morant’s name. For the uninitiated, a takedown model offers simplified versions of flagship signature shoes, both aesthetically and in terms of tech, allowing fans to get in on their favorite athlete’s work at a lower price point. Though not every Swoosh signee eventually takes on the concept, Morant is in good company with those who have; the Giannis Immortality 5 recently offered a look at the latest in the Freak’s longstanding line, while LeBron has offered several different flanks over the years, from the Soldier series to the NXXT Gen.

Given that past precedent, in which the aforementioned Immortality 5 adapts the Freak 7 aesthetic several months after the parent model’s debut, it’s likely that the Nike Ja 3 will be a touchstone for this new design. Despite that, don’t expect the skyrocketing ZoomX cushioning to define the Nike Twelve Time; “budget” underfoot tooling is all but guaranteed.

The Ja Morant x Nike Twelve Time is confirmed to arrive in men’s, grade school, and preschool sizing, clocking in at $90, $85, and $75, respectively. Sneaker News has caught wind of three colorways so far: “Black/Metallic Silver/Smoke Grey,” “Purple Dynasty/Rio/Black,” and “Atomic Pink/Black/Bright Crimson” options will be on tap for the debut.
