Anthony Edwards Debuts adidas Believe That 1

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Anthony Edwards gave adidas Basketball’s next budget model a major spotlight, debuting the adidas Believe That 1 during pre-game warmups. The Minnesota Timberwolves star wore the all-white pair before a playoff matchup against the Denver Nuggets, adding more attention to his growing footwear lineup.

The adidas Believe That 1 serves as a lower-priced option connected to Edwards’ signature series. While it sits below the AE line, the model still carries clear design links to his main basketball shoes. Its side panel features wavy synthetic overlays, giving the pair a familiar look tied to the popular AE 1.

This new silhouette also moves away from the bootie-style construction seen across several adidas Basketball signature models. Instead, the Believe That 1 uses a more traditional build with a padded tongue, standard lacing system, and supportive collar. The result gives the shoe a simpler setup while keeping performance basketball in focus.

Edwards’ debut colorway keeps the design clean with an all-white upper and matching midsole. Black accents appear on the tongue logo and collar lining, while an icy translucent outsole finishes the look underneath. The shoe is also expected to feature Dreamstrike cushioning, giving players an accessible on-court option at a lower price point.

The adidas Believe That 1 is currently expected to release May 1st in adult and grade school sizing. Retail pricing is set at $80 for adults and $70 for grade school pairs, making it one of the more affordable new basketball shoes in adidas’ current lineup.
