Up Close With The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Muslin”

He’s baaack. No, we’re not forgetting the efforts of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design, but on his own two, Travis Scott’s efforts were squarely focused on his budding roster of signature shoes
throughout 2025. Given the sheer attention paid to the world of Travis Scott shoes and how opaque any Nike, Inc. relationship is to the public, there’s been speculation in the time since that the Houston rapper would be moving away from the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, the silhouette he’s given the most attention to in his tenure under the Swoosh.

Clearly, reports of the Reverse Swoosh Air Jordan 1’s death were greatly exaggerated. For the first time since the “Velvet Brown” at the end of 2024, Mike’s first is in focus for the next batch of Travis Scott shoes. In similar fashion to the “Elkins” colorway that preceded that flooded concept by a few months, the “Pink Pack” stamps a step away from the comprehensively earthy design language that’s run rampant through his catalog thus far.

However, the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low “Muslin/Shy Pink,” pictured here and one of two that’s on the way, is the easiest to connect to past product. His love for the subtle influences the subtle off-white tonality used on the overlays, before the collection’s central theme appears on the Reverse Swoosh and outsole rubber. The typical touches we know and love remain in place as you work through the rest of the shoe; Cactus Jack cross branding on the medial side, similar smiley imagery on the heel, and a spin on the OG packaging that matches the colorway used here.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Muslin/Shy Pink” releases on May 22nd, retailing for $155.
