New Balance continues adding sleek styles to its expanding basketball collection with the P400 “Nightwatch Green.” Playing around with a darker color scheme, Nightwatch Green and Midnight Violet blend to create a classy look that translates both on and off the court.
Constructed with breathable mesh on most of the upper, the shoe features a gritty texture from front to back. Collar, heel and lace panels are coated in Midnight Violet suede, while Nightwatch Green is used on the midsole trim, eyelets, tongue accents and outsole shank. This darker “N” logo provides contrast without being loud on the side panel.
Purple laces help pull the upper together, while black padding on the tongue adds another dark layer. A cream sculpted midsole cuts through the deeper tones and gives the shoe some needed contrast. The gum rubber outsole finishes the design with wavy and herringbone-style traction built for quick cuts on indoor courts.
